Neil Young's timeless 1972 classic from the Harvest album, built on a simple but powerful Em-C-D-G progression with gentle strumming and signature hammer-on embellishments from Em to Em7. The song's iconic harmonica melody can be adapted to guitar for the intro and solo sections, making it a perfect study in tasteful simplicity. This is one of the most essential acoustic songs to learn, teaching smooth chord transitions, subtle dynamics, and how a few basic chords can create something truly unforgettable.
